Sr. Associate I, Accounts Receivable (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate I in Accounts Receivable who is fluent in Mandarin to support its finance operations in Selangor. The role focuses on collections, credit management, cash application, and dispute resolution while ensuring compliance with internal controls and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Support measurement and delivery of SLA/KPI targets for the AR function.
• Provide operational support for collection, credit management, month‑end closing, AR reconciliation and bad‑debt analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, OTI and third‑party service providers to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
• Resolve escalated billing and dispute issues and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Assist with ERP/SAP tool implementation, provide functional guidance and training to team members.
• Identify and propose continuous‑improvement and automation projects to streamline end‑to‑end processes.
• Manage day‑to‑day collection activities, payment processing, account reconciliation and blocked‑order operations.

Required profile

• Fluent Mandarin language skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, policies and procedures.
• Experience working with ERP/SAP systems in a finance environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process efficiency.
• Ability to work collaboratively across finance, commercial and operations teams.
