Sous Chef – Italian Pizza & Pasta

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef specialized in Italian pizza and pasta to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work closely with the founding team to develop and refine our menu as we expand across the Klang Valley.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high‑quality pizza and pasta dishes.
• Prepare dough, sauces, and fresh pasta according to authentic Italian standards.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and food‑cost controls throughout the kitchen.
• Collaborate on new menu concepts and seasonal specials.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Italian‑style kitchen, preferably as a Sous Chef.
• Strong passion for pizza and pasta craftsmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
