Senior Structure Repair Engineer

About the role

Airbus Customer Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Structure Repair Engineer to lead and support the Structure Repair Engineering team in Sepang. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with mentorship, ensuring repair activities comply with Airbus and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and advise engineers on technical matters, Airbus procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Assist the Team Leader/Manager with shift planning, workload balancing, and onboarding of new staff.
• Support the development of digital tools and operational reports (KPIs, productive hours, performance reviews).
• Identify training needs, maintain competency records and coordinate technical and soft‑skill training.
• Lead non‑conformity problem‑solving and contribute to audit preparation and follow‑up actions.
• Promote Airbus values, leadership model and code of conduct within the team.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and team‑engagement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Structure Repair Engineer, with several years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of Airbus repair processes and relevant aviation regulations.
• Ability to mentor and develop engineering staff and to manage operational performance.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality and compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Airbus repair procedures and regulatory standards.
• Competence in KPI reporting and data analysis for operational performance.
• Experience with digital tool development for engineering workflows.
