Senior R&D Test Engineer – Production Test

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Senior R&D Test Engineer to support simultaneous engineering activities for both development and production testing. You will work closely with product development teams and the Center of Competence‑Testing to ensure robust test solutions for automotive electronics.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Design for Test workshops at the start of projects.
• Define product‑specific test chains in line with Bosch standards.
• Co‑develop new test concepts together with development and testing experts.
• Create, validate and release test plan documentation for production test stations.
• Track implementation of test requirements derived from Design for Test workshops.
• Perform test coverage analysis at PCB and device levels.
• Organise regular test‑team meetings with production sites.
• Provide on‑site production support for test implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Communication Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in the automotive electronics product industry.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and within a global cross‑functional team.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and good communication skills.
• Familiarity with measurement technology, statistical analysis and production testing processes is a plus.
