Senior Internal Audit

About the role

We are seeking a senior internal audit professional to join AIXTRON Malaysia in Batu Kawan, Penang. The role serves as the single point of contact for the company’s Internal Control System (ICS) and overall compliance function, ensuring that regulatory and internal standards are consistently met. The position is full‑time and based on‑site, reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for all matters related to the Internal Control System and compliance across the organization.
• Promote and maintain compliance awareness throughout the business units.
• Provide proactive guidance to embed compliance requirements into daily operational processes.
• Monitor and assess internal controls, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
• Support senior management in risk assessment and reporting activities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on professional with extensive experience in internal audit and compliance.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and act as the central contact point for compliance matters.
• Must be able to work on‑site in Batu Kawan and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
