Senior Insurance Operations Specialist

About the role

Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services is looking for a Senior Insurance Operations Specialist to join its Placement team in Kuala Lumpur. The role is hybrid, supporting client executives and brokers while ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate client onboarding, monitor due‑diligence progress and maintain documentation such as BOR and ToE.
• Assist with renewal preparation, risk review, premium verification and insurer communications.
• Support policy servicing, including issuance of confirmation letters, certificates and premium allocation schedules.
• Manage workflow between client servicing teams, respond to operational queries and ensure timely authorisation of policy documents.
• Maintain accurate records of negotiations, handle fiduciary queries and collaborate with local support teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 7 years of insurance‑industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with business teams, clients and insurers.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to the cyclical nature of the business.
