About the role
Tenby International School Setia EcoHill, part of ISP Malaysia, is looking for an experienced Senior HR Executive to lead and support all HR operations across the school. The role covers payroll, recruitment, statutory compliance, employee records, benefits, taxation, work permits and HR reporting, ensuring alignment with company policies and Malaysian employment law. The incumbent will work closely with school leadership to drive employee engagement, development and retention.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly payroll and ensure statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, etc.).
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and headcount budgeting.
- Handle statutory compliance, tax clearance for resignations and annual EA form preparation.
- Administer work permits, expatriate tax declarations and related immigration matters.
- Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave and medical claim files.
- Support HR budgeting, performance appraisal, bonus and salary review cycles.
- Ensure all staff are covered by medical and group personal accident insurance and assist with claims.
- Plan and coordinate staff training programmes to promote development and retention.
- Provide HR‑related communication to staff and support broader school administration tasks as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in an international school or service‑oriented environment.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and statutory requirements.
- Experience handling expatriate HR matters, including work permits and tax clearance.
Required skills
- Full‑spectrum HR operations: recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, performance management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
