Senior Executive, Financial Reporting

About the role

HRD Corp is seeking a Senior Executive to lead its financial reporting function in Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial statements while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports in compliance with MFRS 16.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure tax compliance, preparing and filing statutory returns and liaising with tax authorities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, audit coordination and tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS 16).
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive continuous improvement.
