Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Join Sedgwick as a Senior Data Scientist to develop and implement data‑driven solutions across the company. You will work with cross‑functional teams to analyse complex datasets, build predictive models and deliver actionable insights that shape business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and monitor machine learning models in production environments.
• Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, create data stories and support claim management, customer experience and quality assurance.
• Provide technical mentoring, code reviews and support junior team members.
• Collaborate with leaders to translate business needs into experimental designs and data‑driven solutions.
• Build and maintain reporting solutions in Power BI and SSRS.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modelling and machine learning.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
