Senior Cost Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to join our finance team at Meng Kah Auto Parts Trading in Selangor. The role focuses on product costing, variance analysis and supporting manufacturing accounting processes within a fast‑growing automotive parts business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product cost models and perform regular variance analysis.
• Manage manufacturing accounting entries and oversee inventory valuation.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts for the production and sales functions.
• Collaborate with operations to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve cost control.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal policies.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing accounting.
• Proven ability to work in a senior capacity within an automotive or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
