Senior Business Analyst – Product Controller

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to act as Product Controller for its plant in Bayan Lepas. You will be the financial partner for production, engineering and supply‑chain teams, driving cost transparency and supporting strategic pricing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain cost‑control systems for all plant operations.
• Monitor actual costs versus budgets, analyse variances and present detailed reports.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and produce reliable cost forecasts.
• Oversee CAPEX budgets, ensuring projects stay within approved limits.
• Analyse product profitability, perform "should‑cost" studies and support new‑product pricing.
• Collaborate with production and supply‑chain to optimise inventory, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Prepare financial presentations for plant management and corporate finance.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, including reporting automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of progressive experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven record of delivering cost reductions and process improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA) for cost management.
