Senior Associate – Quality Assurance Engineering (Analytical Science & Tech)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to lead Quality Assurance Engineering activities within the Analytical Science & Technology function. You will provide technical support for laboratory equipment, systems, and methods, ensuring compliance with GxP regulations and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead qualification of laboratory equipment, systems, and methods to meet project timelines.
• Conduct troubleshooting and investigations on equipment, systems, and methods using advanced technical knowledge.
• Identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and drive improvements for laboratory assets.
• Support development and transfer of analytical methods, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Maintain and improve LIMS master data and related projects at site and global levels.
• Perform periodic reviews of equipment, systems, and methods.
• Administer laboratory equipment, systems, and methods documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate lab results into manufacturing and ensure GxP compliance.
• Uphold Alcon’s values, code of conduct, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a GxP‑regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, systems, and method qualification.
• Project management experience and familiarity with computerized systems.
• Experience with LIMS is a plus.
