Senior Analyst – Invoice to Cash

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Invoice to Cash will independently manage the end‑to‑end Invoice‑to‑Cash (ITC) processes for BASF’s Asia Pacific operations. This role ensures compliance with internal BASF standards, financial reporting requirements and local statutory regulations while supporting the service delivery team.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review ITC workflows, including accounts receivable, collections, treasury back‑office and inter‑company reconciliation.
• Supervise and mentor junior analysts, ensuring adherence to defined process descriptions and service management frameworks.
• Act as reviewer and approver for daily and month‑end tasks, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders promptly.
• Monitor unallocated receipts, overdue accounts and post‑dunning activities, proposing corrective actions.
• Support regional and global process implementation projects and transition initiatives.
• Participate in compliance audits and ensure documentation meets BASF, legal and statutory policies.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration, or a Chartered/Certified Professional Accountant qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or controlling, preferably within a shared services or BPO environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders across the region.
