Security Products Services Engineer

About the role

Rimini Street, a global provider of enterprise software support, managed services and Agentic AI ERP solutions for Oracle, SAP and VMware, is hiring a Security Products Services Engineer (SPSE). The role reports to the GVP of Rimini Security & Technology Solutions (STS) and is a hybrid position based in the Selangor or Penang office. The SPSE implements, administers and supports Rimini Street security solutions under the guidance of a Security Solutions Architect, working with client IT teams on on-premise and cloud environments hosting applications such as Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP, JDE and Hyperion.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot security products using repeatable project plans under the guidance of Security Solutions Architects.
• Integrate the solution with client SIEM systems and work with client IT teams.
• Monitor the solution after implementation and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as defined in the signed statement of work.
• Document client implementation configurations and keep them up to date.
• Support the Primary Support Engineer and account managers with data for business reviews, and share project status with Onboard Project Managers.
• Manage security product support cases and the product issue log, keeping updates within SLAs and helping troubleshoot product-specific issues with Senior Solutions Architects.
• Keep project plan status updates current and provide feedback to architects to improve implementation and adaptation.
• Learn new security products through self-training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with IT procedures, Data Center operations (in-house and outsourced) and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience contributing to IT projects and delivering professional and managed services.
• Good customer service skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required skills

• Understanding of technology stacks such as network, application and database servers.
• Installation and configuration experience following manuals and best practices.
• Preferred: knowledge of security concepts such as virtual patching, cloud security, encryption and identity management.
• Preferred: familiarity with AWS, Azure and GCP, and experience with managed services SLAs and consulting backgrounds.
