Registered Nurse – Haemodialysis

About the role

The hospital is seeking a State Registered Nurse specialized in haemodialysis to deliver high‑quality patient care within the dialysis unit. You will work closely with the unit manager and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatment for patients undergoing haemodialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, plan and adjust nursing care, and manage all phases of haemodialysis treatment using dialysis machines and CRRT equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records, report abnormalities promptly, and assist physicians during rounds and procedures.
• Execute doctors' orders, coordinate with team members, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other disciplines.
• Deliver health education, support organ‑donation programs, and participate in unit meetings and hospital activities.
• Assist with billing, appointment scheduling, and guide patients to payment services.
• Support unit management by handling administrative tasks, stock inspection, and charge verification.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia and hold a valid nursing licence.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
