Regional Marketing Head – Surgical (SEA)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Surgical Regional Marketing Head for the Southeast Asia (SEA) cluster to lead and elevate the company’s presence across the region. The role will drive marketing strategy, launch new products, and build capabilities within the team and distributor networks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep competitive analysis and market intelligence to shape value propositions.
• Coordinate regional responses to competitor launches and execute campaigns that reinforce leadership in key segments.
• Oversee launch planning, readiness assessments, and post‑launch optimization to maximize impact and ROI.
• Partner with training teams to deliver clinical and product education.
• Set capability frameworks, lead talent development, and implement standard processes, templates, and governance.
• Introduce modern marketing tools and analytics to build a future‑ready marketing function.

Required profile

• Science or Commercial/Marketing degree.
• Minimum 8 years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years at a Marketing Manager level in the healthcare industry.
• Proven strategic marketing expertise with a creative mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams and distributor partners.
• Strong track record of building KOL relationships and managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
