R&D Project Manager

About the role

Join Bosch Group’s Cross‑Domain Computing Solutions division in Bayan Lepas as an R&D Project Manager. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to develop cutting‑edge automotive software and electronics, ensuring projects meet Bosch’s quality standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams through the Bosch Product Development Process (PEP) to deliver high‑quality products.
• Own project targets for time, cost, scope and quality, and report status to management.
• Manage RFQ activities, target costing and project budgeting.
• Identify, implement and control project changes, and develop recovery plans for unforeseen issues.
• Coach and mentor team members, evaluate competencies and support career development.
• Negotiate with customers and internal stakeholders to align expectations and resolve differences.
• Provide input for new products, processes and standards that support business strategy.
• Analyse market and technology trends to assess feasibility of innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in project management within R&D or automotive engineering.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional projects and deliver results.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
