Quality Technician – Test Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Technician (Test Coordinator) ensures smooth handling of test samples from production through to final test results. You will act as the liaison between the manufacturing floor and external test laboratories, guaranteeing that samples are requested, tracked, and reported accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Request test samples from production lines using Production Orders.
• Track sample progress and close orders promptly.
• Arrange and submit samples to designated test labs according to the test plan.
• Monitor test progress with labs to ensure schedules are met.
• Provide feedback to engineers when issues arise during testing.
• Issue failure notices to relevant parties when tests fail.
• Maintain precise testing records and document all results.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Science, or equivalent certificate with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong organizational skills, systematic and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (basic and advanced knowledge is a plus).
