Production Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Production Technician to join our manufacturing team at Phabritek Sdn Bhd in Batu Kawan, Penang. The role focuses on operating production equipment, supporting continuous process improvements, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency and 5S workplace organization.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures, ensuring correct setup and safe operation.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with maintenance teams.
• Perform quality checks at each stage of production to ensure products meet defined specifications and standards.
• Maintain 5S standards by organizing work areas, labeling tools, and ensuring cleanliness and safety.
