Production Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Production Quality Engineer to join our high‑tech fibre‑optics manufacturing facility in Batu Kawan, Penang. The role focuses on maintaining and improving product quality while supporting advanced optical communication technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across production lines.
• Monitor and analyse production data to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with China‑based stakeholders, communicating technical information in Mandarin.
• Support the implementation of optical communication technology processes.
• Participate in internal audits and corrective‑action activities.

Required profile

• Proactive quality professional with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in Mandarin for effective communication with China partners.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving orientation.

Required skills

• Quality Management System (QMS) knowledge.
• Mandarin language proficiency.
• Understanding of optical communication technologies.
