Product Advisor & Expeditor

About the role

Wilhelmsen is looking for a proactive Product Advisor & Expeditor to join its Kuala Lumpur office. You will act as the main point of contact for customer orders, ensuring smooth communication between customers, supply teams and internal stakeholders while supporting new business set‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to customer order requests, troubleshoot issues and maintain continuous communication with Customer Service, Supply Team and Business Process Managers.
• Handle product registration, generate Customer Orders (CO) and Purchase Orders (PO) across multiple systems.
• Provide accurate delivery instructions to Operations and keep the warehouse informed of delivery times and locations.
• Maintain control reports, documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Local Supply team on order status, charges and availability.
• Support the set‑up of new business ventures and resolve order‑related issues with relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics Management or Operations Management.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a rotating basis and during Malaysia public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
