Planner – Customer Order

About the role

The Planner – Customer Order will coordinate order planning and fulfillment for Bosch's manufacturing operations in Penang. You will act as the central point of contact between customers, internal planners and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with customers on order loading and fulfillment, ensuring effective coordination across internal and external parties.
• Contribute to the Supply Availability Dashboard by reporting finished‑goods availability and production/material issues.
• Review material and capacity status with planners, identify restrictions and drive backlog reduction.
• Track and analyse customer demand trends, forecast accuracy and support inventory control.
• Validate forecasts with regional teams and drive mid‑term forecast entry in the system.
• Prepare weekly order lists, monitor daily schedules versus actual production output, and set priorities for urgent shipments.
• Lead Supply Validation meetings and routine conference calls with customers.
• Support new product ramp‑up, master‑data setup and monitor forecast for products in phase‑out.
• Coordinate return of finished goods from distribution centres and work with logistics on shipment arrangements.
• Participate in daily delivery meetings, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Experience in order planning, supply chain or logistics coordination.
• Strong analytical ability to review material, capacity and forecast data.
• Proven capability to communicate effectively with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail for inventory monitoring and KPI tracking.
