P&L Manager – Building & Infrastructure

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a P&L Manager for its Building & Infrastructure services in Malaysia. Reporting to the Southeast Asia B&I Product Line Leader, the role drives revenue growth, leads multidisciplinary teams and oversees full‑cycle project delivery across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage P&L accountability and achieve budgeted sales targets while expanding OPEX service offerings.
• Lead business development activities, including tender management and proposal development for large capex projects.
• Provide leadership to engineers, consultants and inspectors, ensuring seamless project delivery and capability development.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects, from initiation to handover, managing budgets, timelines and risk.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations and Bureau Veritas quality frameworks.
• Develop long‑term business strategies, prepare KPI reports and monitor strategic risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, multi‑industry construction projects, including data‑center mega projects.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
