Payroll & People Data Analyst (Korean Read/Write) – 1 Year Contract

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports the HR and payroll function in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on accurate payroll processing, HR data management, and compliance with local legislation. The analyst will work closely with internal teams and external service providers, providing day‑to‑day assistance on HR inquiries and contributing to process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain data quality and integrity for payroll and HR data across multiple systems.
• Process personnel administration requests, including terminations, time‑and‑attendance, and payroll inputs such as subsidies and fleet management.
• Prepare and deliver statutory HR reports and ensure timely compliance with local labor regulations.
• Support salary review cycles, including data preparation, letter generation, and new salary processing.
• Provide advisory services on employee enquiries, policy clarifications, and HR system usage.
• Monitor service requests against SLA and KPI targets, and collaborate with regional HR partners to resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into HR solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken Korean language skills.
• Familiarity with Malaysian payroll legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
