About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Painter to join our team at IPS Industrial Engineering in Pekan Nanas, Johor. The role involves delivering high‑quality painting work on industrial and construction projects, ensuring surfaces are prepared and finished to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
• Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Inspect completed work for consistency, coverage, and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and functional.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Ability to work on‑site full‑time in a physically demanding environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members.
