OVM Support & Performance Management Executive

About the role

The OVM Support & Performance Management Executive will ensure high‑level performance reporting and continuous improvement across the Global Operations Support unit. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role works closely with local and regional teams to deliver accurate logistics performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Run scheduled data extracts from BASF systems and validate data accuracy.
• Produce monthly KPI reports and ad‑hoc analyses to support operations.
• Coordinate regular meetings, track action items and share updates with stakeholders.
• Support continuous‑improvement and digitalisation projects through detailed performance analytics.
• Collaborate with other regions to ensure consistent KPI reporting and target adherence.
• Assist operational vendor management with performance reporting, training and documentation.
• Analyse freight costs to identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in supply‑chain or import/export logistics operations, preferably with performance reporting.
• Familiarity with logistics service provider performance metrics and supplier management.
• Experience with SAP Transport Management (TM) or similar ERP modules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Teams.
• Knowledge of SAP TM or other ERP transport management systems.
• Data‑analytics capabilities and experience building dashboards.
