Network Security Specialist

About the role

The Network Security Specialist will support the Connectivity Product Service Lines (PSL) by representing Infra and Digital Platform across Airbus functions. You will ensure the successful implementation, ongoing enhancement, and secure operation of network and unified communication solutions for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable connectivity infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, network security, wireless, automation, and monitoring technologies.
• Manage a complex ecosystem spanning 3 divisions, 11 countries, 45+ sites, and 3 data centres, driving global standardisation and harmonisation.
• Define and apply APAC network security standards in line with Airbus group policies.
• Collaborate with architects to develop technical roadmaps for connectivity upgrades.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to assess and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Support the design, build, and operation of connectivity solutions based on Cisco, Bluecoat, and Palo Alto technologies.
• Assist the APAC/Central CyberSecurity team in establishing and enforcing security protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement, standardisation, and automation of network infrastructure across APAC.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and supporting LAN, WAN, and wireless networks in a multi‑country environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Bluecoat, and Palo Alto security platforms.
• Ability to work with global product owners and align regional standards with corporate policies.
