Network Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on supporting F5 load‑balancing and firewall security solutions for a leading finance organization.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, monitor and maintain F5 load‑balancing devices.
• Implement and manage firewall policies to protect critical financial data.
• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
• Collaborate with finance‑sector IT teams to align network services with business requirements.
• Perform regular performance monitoring and security audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in network infrastructure engineering.
• Familiarity with finance‑sector compliance and security standards is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in an on‑site environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• F5 load‑balancing platforms.
• Firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
• TCP/IP networking, routing and switching.
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
