Mortgage Relationship Manager

About the role

The Priority Mortgage Relationship Manager is responsible for driving mortgage sales growth by acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing clients. The role involves actively prospecting for potential customers, providing comprehensive financial advice, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the mortgage application process.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently meet and surpass monthly mortgage sales targets, onboard affluent clients, and cross‑sell other affluent products such as Mortgage Reducing Term Assurance (MRTA) and Mortgage Level Term Assurance (MLTA) through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, real estate agents, and developers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through alliance tie‑ups such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers and lawyers.
• Conduct financial needs analysis to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable mortgage products.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market trends and regulatory changes in the mortgage industry.
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures related to mortgage sales and lending.

Required profile

• Possess minimum Diploma.
• Minimum of one year of experience in mortgage sales, preferably in the banking or real estate industry.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of mortgage products and the property market is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Possess a valid driving licence as the role requires travelling.
