Module Engineer / Senior Module Engineer

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Module Engineer or Senior Module Engineer to lead the planning and execution of assembly processes for high‑quality products. You will work closely with cross‑functional project teams to optimise design, reduce costs and ensure manufacturing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan assembly process flows and collaborate with project teams to minimise product cost through design and process optimisation.
• Support RFQ calculations and provide investment estimates for standard assembly modules.
• Define equipment specifications, oversee purchase, set‑up and release of manufacturing cells on schedule and within budget.
• Evaluate equipment and process performance at each project stage and produce technical performance reports.
• Create and maintain process specifications, maintenance strategies and other documentation required for line release.
• Apply problem‑solving methodologies to assembly processes and equipment, develop troubleshooting guides and train technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement programmes (CIP) focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for technical flaws.
• Analyse and enhance technical capacity to meet customer demand, driving higher OEE, FPY, MTTR and MTBF.
• Promote teamwork within the Value Stream Organization to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in assembly line set‑up, process planning, PFMEA and control plan creation.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, production systems and box‑build assembly processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, across all organisational levels.
• Proven decision‑making, problem‑solving and results‑orientation.
