Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Buildings business in Petaling Jaya. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver mechanical solutions for a wide range of building projects, from concept through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mechanical engineering projects from initial scoping to detailed design, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Engage with clients and internal teams to develop commercially viable solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews and troubleshooting for building services systems.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards and regulations.
• Support project planning, scheduling and budgeting to meet time and cost targets.
• Mentor junior mechanical engineers and provide technical guidance across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in building services engineering.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and interact with clients.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
