About the role

SilTerra Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer or Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead its wafer production operations. The role focuses on driving cost efficiency, productivity, and quality while ensuring a safe, disciplined manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Manage all manufacturing activities and daily production schedules.
Achieve the lowest manufacturing cost per wafer.
Continuously improve productivity and cycle time.
Maximize quality output and address bottlenecks.
Train, mentor, and utilize manufacturing technicians and specialists.
Ensure daily production targets are met.
Support the company’s quality and reliability objectives.
Comply with SilTerra’s Environmental Management System and safety procedures.

Required profile

Experience in high‑volume, aggressive production environments.
Ability to motivate and manage specialists and technicians.
Strong analytical, communication and presentation abilities.
Team‑player attitude with a hard‑working mindset.
Willingness to work shifts.
