Manager, Regulatory Reporting

About the role

The Manager, Regulatory Reporting will lead the regulatory reporting function for Royal Bank of Canada in Putrajaya, Malaysia. This role ensures compliance with local and international regulations while supporting finance control and transformation initiatives. The position reports to senior finance leadership and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate and timely reporting. It plays a critical role in maintaining the bank’s regulatory compliance posture across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, review and submission of all regulatory reports.
• Lead and develop a team of reporting professionals, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
• Ensure alignment with EMEA and global finance standards and best practices.
• Drive finance control and transformation projects to improve reporting efficiency.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior finance leaders, supporting decision‑making with reliable data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance reporting or regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated people‑management and strategic leadership capabilities.
• Exposure to EMEA or global finance environments.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Putrajaya.
