Manager – Deals, Capital Projects & Infrastructure

About the role

PwC’s Capital Projects & Infrastructure team in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Manager to lead advisory engagements across large‑scale infrastructure and capital‑intensive projects. You will work with clients in sectors such as aviation, transport, power, oil & gas and real estate, helping them shape strategy, secure financing and manage risk from inception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple client engagements and report progress to senior managers.
• Train, mentor and lead junior team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders.
• Stay informed on local and national economic trends that affect infrastructure projects.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities for new and existing clients.
• Prepare proposals, conduct research and ensure all deliverables meet PwC’s risk and quality standards.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in accounting, debt capital markets, corporate strategy, project management or engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in sectors such as aviation, transport & logistics, power & utilities, oil & gas or real estate.
• Ability to view the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
