Manager, Customer Engagement & Partnership

About the role

The Manager, Customer Engagement & Partnership will lead the design and execution of marketing and loyalty campaigns for credit and debit card customers within Hong Leong Bank’s payments ecosystem. Reporting to the Head of Customer Engagement & Partnership, the role focuses on creating compelling programmes that increase card usage and strengthen the bank’s partnership network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch holistic customer engagement programmes, including tactical usage campaigns and year‑long consumer programmes based on merchant categories and spend insights.
• Analyse consumer data and collaborate with the MIS team to build data‑driven campaigns that resonate with cardholders.
• Monitor campaign performance, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions to meet targets.
• Conduct post‑campaign analysis and capture learnings for future initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (BIAU, MIS, compliance, finance, legal, marcom) to ensure timely delivery within budget and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Malaysian citizen with a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in financial institutions, customer loyalty programmes, FMCG, digital creative or media agencies.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and excellent project‑management and communication skills.
