Manager, Credit Management / Credit Approval

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Manager to lead Credit Management and Credit Approval functions at Toyota Capital Services in Petaling Jaya. You will be responsible for overseeing credit risk assessment, approval processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end credit assessment and approval workflows.
• Monitor and control the credit portfolio to mitigate risk.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve credit policies and procedures.
• Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts and officers.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to support business growth while maintaining credit quality.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal audit requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in credit management, credit approval, or credit risk analysis.
• Demonstrated managerial experience leading a credit team.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
