Manager, Civil Case Management

About the role

The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) is seeking a Manager to lead its civil case management function. This role is responsible for overseeing all litigation matters and ensuring that civil actions protect SSM's rights, interests, and legal position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all civil litigation matters on behalf of SSM.
• Develop and implement strategies to protect the organisation's legal interests in civil actions.
• Monitor case progress, ensure compliance with legal procedures, and provide timely updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal legal teams and external counsel to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of case files, decisions, and settlements.

Required profile

• Legal qualification with experience in civil litigation.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian civil law and court processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a high‑performance environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
