Manager, Account Relationship

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Manager, Account Relationship to drive growth of our commercial banking portfolio. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate clients, deepening existing relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions across loans, deposits and fee‑based services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new commercial loan, deposit and fee‑income accounts.
• Manage a portfolio of existing corporate accounts to increase funded and non‑funded income.
• Provide value‑added banking advice and customized solutions to optimise revenue.
• Prepare and submit credit applications for new accounts and oversee renewal of existing facilities.
• Maintain asset quality through proactive market intelligence and risk monitoring.
• Collaborate with product partners such as Trade Services, HL Markets and Deposit & Liability Management.
• Ensure credit facilities comply with lending policies and address key risks before submission.
• Monitor utilisation of existing facilities, encourage draw‑down and cross‑sell additional products.
• Prepare regular management reports and support junior staff where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, preferably in Trade Finance, FX and lending.
• Strong understanding of commercial banking products and client relationship management.
• Good communication, negotiation and English language proficiency.
