Maintenance Executive

About the role

The Maintenance Executive will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to keep production operations running smoothly at Sam Hwa Steel's facility in Pasir Gudang. This full‑time, on‑site position supports daily maintenance activities and helps ensure equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily maintenance tasks.
• Support the implementation of preventive maintenance plans.
• Help monitor equipment performance and report any issues.
• Coordinate with production staff to minimise downtime.
• Participate in troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
• Assist in ordering spare parts and maintaining inventory records.
• Help ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a maintenance or industrial support role.
• Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical maintenance concepts.
• Ability to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills to liaise with the Maintenance Manager and production team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Basic computer literacy for maintenance reporting.
