Logistics Operations Section Manager

About the role

Bosch is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Section Manager to ensure stable material flow, production continuity and reliable customer delivery at its new semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end logistics covering inbound, warehouse, production supply and outbound execution.
• Maintain uninterrupted material availability and prevent line stoppages.
• Own warehouse performance, including inventory accuracy, space utilization and material handling efficiency.
• Manage logistics resources, manpower planning and capacity for business growth.
• Drive inventory optimisation, DIO reduction and excess/obsolete stock management.
• Oversee transportation operations and service providers to meet delivery reliability and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade, LMW requirements and Bosch logistics standards.
• Lead SAP, SAP EWM and S/4HANA process adherence and master data governance.
• Implement digitalisation, automation and continuous improvement projects using BPS and Lean methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field.
• 5–10 years of logistics, warehouse or manufacturing operations experience, with at least 5 years leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, material flow, transportation and customs compliance.
• Proven people leadership, communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
