Legal Intern

About the role

AirAsia Aviation Management Services Sdn. Bhd. (AAAMS) is looking for a full-time legal intern in its Legal department, based in RedQ, Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. The internship lasts 3 to 6 months and supports the day-to-day legal needs of AAAMS and its affiliate companies across all business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Support the daily legal challenges of AAAMS and its affiliates across all business lines.
• Help identify legal risks and alternative strategies in a defined area.
• Make sure documents accurately reflect business and commercial concerns and are consistent with legal obligations.
• Resolve common legacy and liability issues that may have a legal impact.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Contribute to the team and future legal initiatives, focusing on operational excellence, continuous improvement and a sustainable culture of change.

Required profile

• Current law student, recent graduate, or someone awaiting CLP examination results.
• Fluent in the language of law and commerce, with excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, virtual and diverse environment, with flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
• Strong time management and ability to manage several tasks independently under pressure.
