About the role
As a Learning & Development Specialist at Respond.io, you will own the full L&D lifecycle, from diagnosing high‑impact learning and culture challenges to designing and delivering programs that drive measurable impact across a global, multicultural workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Identify the organization’s highest‑impact learning and culture problems using data, feedback and observation, and define roadmaps to solve them.
- Design and deliver training, culture and workflow solutions, including leadership development for people managers, coordinating facilitators and stakeholders.
- Maintain career growth‑path, competency and progression frameworks with managers and leadership, ensuring they are actively used.
- Define success measures for each initiative, evaluate effectiveness and iterate based on data and feedback.
- Plan and run employee engagement and team‑building initiatives for a global, multicultural workforce.
- Own HRDC grant applications, claims and reporting from submission through closure.
- Lead broader HR projects, defining outcomes, building plans and driving delivery across stakeholders.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
- Proven ability to independently own a learning program, career framework or development initiative from planning through execution and evaluation.
- Experience diagnosing learning or culture needs from data and feedback and translating them into structured roadmaps.
- Background running coaching clinics, manager training or other leadership development interventions.
- Experience with HRDC grant applications, claims and reporting.
- Strong project management skills, prioritising work, managing timelines and coordinating stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to facilitate across employees, managers and leadership.
Required skills
- Instructional or program design skills, including content adaptation for first‑time or new managers.
- Comfort working with a multicultural, globally distributed team.
- Sound judgment, integrity and discretion handling confidential employee information.
- Adaptability and composure in a fast‑moving environment.
