International Affiliate – Mental Health Counselor (Melaka)

About the role

This associate position supports Lyra Health’s delivery of mental health services in Melaka, Malaysia. You will provide counseling and therapy sessions to clients both in‑person and virtually, while adhering to Lyra’s clinical and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver counseling/therapy sessions to clients in‑person and via digital platforms.
• Manage your own session scheduling and maintain timely, accurate documentation.
• Coordinate periodically with Lyra’s care and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold high standards of care, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

Required profile

• Registered Counselor (KB; PA) with the Malaysian Board of Counselors or a Clinical Psychologist registered with MAHPC.
• Proven experience providing counselling or therapy services.
• Access to a safe, private, professional space for in‑person sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected with a remote team.
• Fluency in English; additional local languages are a plus.
• Passion for expanding access to mental health care.
