HR Director – Lead HR agenda for Melaka site

About the role

We are seeking an HR Director to lead the full HR agenda for our Melaka site. Reporting directly to the Site General Manager, this senior HR partner will work closely with the leadership team to align people strategies with business goals. The position is full‑time and on‑site in Melaka Tengah, Melaka, Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the complete HR agenda for the Melaka location, covering all core HR functions.
• Act as the senior HR partner to the Site General Manager and the broader leadership team, providing strategic advice and support.
• Develop and implement HR policies that comply with Malaysian labour regulations.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations to ensure a high‑performing workforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles, preferably within a multi‑site environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate with senior management and drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
