HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will report to the HR Director and act as a strategic advisor for both direct and indirect labour forces at Bosch’s Bayan Lepas site. Working closely with HR experts and shared services, you will help shape people strategies that align with business goals across R&D, manufacturing, technical and commercial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with functional leaders to provide day‑to‑day HR advice and drive organizational effectiveness.
• Design and deliver people development programmes, including training, upskilling, talent identification and career pathing.
• Lead employee engagement, retention and well‑being initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Support succession and talent planning for key roles in both operational and functional areas.
• Manage employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour law and company policies.
• Oversee performance management and monitor compensation and benefits to maintain equity and market competitiveness.
• Serve as the primary contact for local HR processes, driving continuous improvement of tools and systems.
• Lead change‑management and cultural transformation projects that support business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and work collaboratively across diverse functions.
