Head of Primary – International School Leadership

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Primary to lead Tenby International School Penang’s primary division. The role involves steering the school’s learning agenda, fostering outstanding student outcomes, and contributing to the wider campus leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire primary staff to deliver the International Primary Curriculum and STEAM‑focused programmes.
• Oversee curriculum design, implementation and review to ensure high‑quality learning experiences.
• Maintain a safe, caring school environment and uphold a positive ethos.
• Use data and professional insight to monitor and improve teaching practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience as Head of Primary or senior leader in a primary school, preferably with an international or UK‑based curriculum.
• Qualified primary teacher with a relevant degree; leadership qualification such as NPQH/NPQSL or a Master’s in Education is desirable.
• Experience working in a multilingual setting and knowledge of EAL provision is a plus.
