Global Customs Performance Management (Senior Executive)

About the role

The Global Customs Performance Management Senior Executive monitors and improves the operational performance of BASF’s customs activities across the Asia‑Pacific region from the Kuala Lumpur Service Centre. The role ensures service quality, compliance with regulations and alignment with global guidance while supporting export, import and preferential origin processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement global, regional and local monitoring processes for customs performance.
• Measure service execution, quality and adherence to standard procedures.
• Prepare monthly statistics, KPI reports and visual dashboards for stakeholders.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of internal and external customs data and present findings.
• Support meetings and business reviews with country teams.
• Drive automation of routine data collection and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with the global steering unit to perform risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in supply chain management or a related field.
• Proven experience in customs, foreign trade and performance management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in the EMEA time zone.
