Finance Manager Accounting and Consolidation

About the role

The Finance Manager – Accounting and Consolidation will lead the accounting function for Airbus Helicopters Malaysia, overseeing the full accounting cycle, consolidation, and related reporting. You will manage a team of six professionals and ensure compliance with headquarters’ timelines and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Close accounts and submit reports in line with HQ deadlines and quality standards.
• Monitor operating expenses against the approved budget and manage capex, AR/AP, and expense claims.
• Prepare financial forecasts and operating plans in collaboration with the GM and Head of Finance.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash forecasting, and follow‑up on customer overdue balances.
• Coordinate the annual statutory audit (KPMG) and internal HQ audits.
• Work with tax agents to prepare and file corporate tax returns.
• Ensure internal control processes are established, documented, and followed.
• Promote Airbus values, leadership model, and code of conduct within the team.

Required profile

• Professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and consolidation.
• Strong awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
