Finance Executive / Senior Executive – Compliance

About the role

The Finance Executive / Senior Executive (Compliance) will support Metrod’s finance function by ensuring all statutory and regulatory obligations are met. This on‑site position focuses on compliance, reporting and audit coordination within a dynamic Malaysian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage statutory compliance and ensure timely filing of regulatory reports.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing required documentation and responses.
• Provide finance‑related support to various business units, including month‑end close assistance.
• Monitor changes in financial regulations and advise relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and audit outcomes.

Required profile

• Relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on compliance or regulatory reporting.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
