Experienced Tax Associate – Corporate Compliance

About the role

PwC is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to join its Corporate Tax Compliance team in Penang. You will work directly with clients to ensure accurate tax filings and compliance while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and complete complex tax computations for a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Manage client relationships, act as the primary point of contact, and ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
• Negotiate and agree tax liabilities with tax authorities when required.
• Monitor and organize your own workload, ensuring high‑quality, compliant deliverables.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of tax professionals to address varied client challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, and/or relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tax compliance and consultancy, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent client‑management skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
